This was a gift for :iconhaaspodge: and his wife when they got married five years ago. Joel loves bears and our local northwoods wildlife so I thought this would be appropriate.

It's made out of Super Sculpey and painted with acrylic paint. :)

Oh my word! I like to think I'm good at sculpting but I wouldn't know where to begin to get the level of detail on this.

Okay, holy cow... that detail is incredible. Frickin' wowza. Also: did you do anything to build it up? (like make a sort of base out of wire or anything?)

Or did you just dig into that stuff? Because... holy cooow. I also loved the way you painted it and made it into a new material almost. I didn't even guess it was sculpy!

Saw the rest of your gallery too; love the style (LOVE). It's most supremely excellent! Hard core solid snake. WOO.

thanks a lot! I used a TON of tin foil and some soldering wire. The piece is pretty big...Sculpey works great with anything metal for filler...

It was painted with acrylic too...

That's really good to know! I've been doing scuply the hard way. *laughs* I'll try that next time I make something with scuply. And acrylics works SO nice with sculpy. Oh yeah.

But you're welcome!
