These are some rough sketches for a Tarzan painting I would like to do. I have no idea when I will ever finish it. Lots of foilage in that one.

Looks really dynamic!

I can't blame you; I know foliage can be tough to paint. If you ever do get around to finishing it, I'd be more than happy to see it!

nice, what do you have in mind? looking up at the canopy with one of those beams of light shining down in, or something like a night-time scene?

I like the one on the left best, I can't exactly say why, though.

That is a good idea....

I have a kind of swampy looking jungle with a crapload of vines and roots. I was going to have them slifing fow nthe base of a massive tree with leaves flying around...kind of like they were duking it out higher up and slid down to the floor.
