This a tribute and thanks to GH-Mongo for being such a great guy and being so nice to me as a new Deviant member! This is a depiction of his red-bearded dwarve Myrmidon.
Looks like the other guy is not having a good day....
Thanks dude! I did most of that witha brush and it was tough for me to do...I had to "fix" a lot up with a pen...I have no control with India ink and brushes...
What do yo uuse to ink...or do you do it digitally?
My lines look all jagged! Uneven too. I have an inker friend in Toronto that gave me a pinup of Solomon Kane...and it is flawless...he inks witha brush....I JUST DO NOT GET IT.....
My only hope with a brush is to do "loose" rustic style inking...then I can get away with it..... HA!
An awesome victory, but poor troll!
My favourite part? Myrmidon's nose. Those little touches of rouge - and on the elbows and knuckles - add that bit extra interest and ruddiness to his skin, which I think really works!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
