Here is the latest cover for the Belgian published TK Magazine. Every summer my good friend Tim Veekhoven asks me to do a cover for the fanzine. Me being of Belgian heritage and a long time Star Wars fan, it's always a thrill for me to be involved. Here is the latest, and fortunately it's my favorite character, Jabba the Hutt. I remember reading about the future release of "Revenge of the Jedi" in a dentist office when I was a eight years old and Jabba was the first character I saw in the magazine. After having my teeth chipped away at, I immediately went home and drew him. I wish I still had those pictures.
This image is a bit different than the one I sent Tim at TK. I was going through the brilliant Al Williamson drawn Marvel comic adaption and was really inspired by the bright colors. So I gave this one a more dramatic comic book style coloring. Hope you don't mind Tim!
And BTW for the description, it's "Return of the Jedi" and not "Revenge of the Jedi". Or is that what they were calling it pre–release?
All the best!
